Chihuly Discounts: Costco, Groupon, AAA and CityPASS
Which Chihuly discounts actually exist, which are rumours, and the one saving that reliably holds.
Search for a Chihuly discount and you will find a lot of pages promising one. Here is what survives checking.
Costco
Costco Travel has carried Seattle attraction bundles at times and dropped them at others. There is no standing Chihuly product to plan around. If you are a member, it costs two minutes to look on the day; it is not something to build an itinerary on.
Groupon
Listings for Seattle attractions appear periodically and vanish just as quickly, and the coupon aggregators advertising Chihuly codes frequently lead nowhere at all. Treat a Groupon listing as a lucky find, never as your plan for a given date.
AAA
This is the one worth two minutes. AAA’s travel arm has carried Space Needle and Chihuly combination tickets, and availability and rates differ by club region — so check your own club rather than a general claim about AAA.
Military, student and senior
The venue publishes senior and youth pricing — roughly $35–40 for seniors and for youth aged 5 to 12, with children under 4 free. For military and student rates, ask at the desk: the venue publishes no standing rate, and we are not going to invent one.
The prices that are quoted but not published
Two numbers circulate widely on aggregator pages: a “$35 online” price and a “$22 evening rate”. Neither appears in the venue’s own published prices. We have left them off this site rather than repeat them, because a price you cannot trace is worse than no price.
CityPASS — the saving that holds
Seattle CityPASS bundles Chihuly, the Space Needle and three more attractions at $119–139. It is arithmetic rather than a discount: it pays when you actually use most of what is in it. Two attractions over a weekend and you have overpaid; four or five and it is comfortably the best value available.

Not money — the slot, and free cancellation up to 24 hours. On a summer weekend that is worth more than any coupon on this page.
